London Fashion Week 2018; Day One

This year’s London fashion week started on a very good note. I got invited to a number of runway shows and presentations as well as connecting with incredible creatives from the London fashion industry, Asian and African countries to mention a few.

With London fashion bloggers Howste and stylegrimoires
With London fashion blogger and influencer Emma of Madcatfashion

The designers show room featured so many amazing work form numerous fashion designers and brands from around the world. I got to meet some of these designers and learnt more about the ideas behind their collection and their art.

There was some what of a uniform trend which I believe will soon become a cult for this season, a trend that a lot of designers have infused into their collection and will have us end consumers craving to be on the beat dress on- trend club for a while to come, this trend is the decontrusted trend. It is an infusion of different textures and elements together to make one garment and quite a number of designers came out with such amazing pieces.

WEN PAN spring summer 2019

This season’s trend has alot of floral dresses , puffy Victorian sleeves clothing, over size bags , patterned jackets and pants, loosely fitted clothes is the new sexy and the colors are going loud and proud as well from pink, to red, neon is also a hot trend this season.

Mothers Do It Better: A Fashion Editorial

Who says mothers can’t be super glamorous and look effortlessly beautiful even while nursing their baby.

Bellanaija.com, spotlight p imagery, and my self teamed up to organize a series of photo shoots to celebrate some beautiful mothers for mother’s day.

To see their eyes glow and beam with joy at the final outcome of their looks, meant so much more than words can say.

I was more than happy to create timeless memories for these women.

Fashion week styling for O’milua

It was such an amazing experience yet again as i got to work with the very eccentric Nigerian fashion brand Omilua for her spring-summer 2018 collection shown at the 2017 edition of the Lagos fashion and design week.

This very colorful collection featured this seasons trends, from blue, tangerine, red, canary yellow, to mention a few. it also had ruffles, gingham patterned, prints, mesh socks, stripes, and over the top hair bow accessories. I loved the interpretation of African and Cuban Spanish theme going on.

I have always wanted to restyle a photo shoot of the icon and when that opportunity came, i didn’t hesitate to cease it.
