Heineken Lagos fashion design week 2017 has come to an end but we will not forget it in a hurry. This year we saw so many changes, which were positive if I may add, from the organisation to the line up of activities, and the very best from the runway, it was an amazing show back to back but that will be another blog post soon, I will be glad to share my favorite shows and designers from heineken lagos fashion design week 2017.
Need I mention that fashion week saw loads of fashion enthusiasts bring their slay game to the max, it was a chore to keep up as the slayvage was epic. I made sure i wasn’t left out in the slayvage, lol. My go to look is always to be comfortable, so i went for looks that were totally me, chic, on trend and super comfortable.
Day 1: I went for this denim dress and African printed cold shoulder with puffy sleeves, accessorized with a belt, metallic sling bag, nude heels and red socks, which is totally on trend at the moment, you should try the socks trend, it’s fab.
I don’t have so many photos from day one, as i was backstage prepping for O’milua’s collection, you can see it HERE

Day 2: This gorgeous denim romper dress is from Nigerian based designer Isi Atagamen, I paired it with a navy top, navy velvet purse, finished the look with Gucci mules and yellow mesh sock from Nigerian designer O’milua whose collection I styled on the first day of fashion week, see it all here.

Day 3: Today I wanted to bring out my inner eclectic side and decided to go for an informal gothic look since I had rocked colors for the past two days, I felt so comfortable which was the look I was going for. The legendary Kelechi Amadi Obi blessed me with this lens, so you know this look was fire. So I gave them, checkered oversize blazer, black tee shirt, leather pants, which really didn’t make me hot, considering the weather. and I finished the look with a black fanny pack and floral boots.
Blazer: Zara T-shirt: Primark Fanny pack: Topshop
leather pants: Zara floral boots: Tommy Hilfiger
Day 4: Its the last day of Lagos fashion week, it has been an amazing one so far. Today I went for a more laid-back yet classy look. I wore this black dress, printed silk pajamas robe, I finished it up with Chanel mules and vintage purse that is over 15 years old and the most beautiful diamante necklace.

Would you try any of my looks, if yes which would it be, please leave me a comment, i will love to read your honest opinion…
